Configure Monitoring Settings

Configure your monitoring preferences to optimize how Unexpose protects your content.

Accessing Settings

Go to Settings in your dashboard to access all configuration options.

Notification Settings

Email Notifications

Configure which emails you receive:

  • New Matches: Get notified when new matches are found
  • Removal Updates: Status updates on your removal requests
  • Weekly Summary: Weekly digest of your account activity
  • Account Alerts: Security and billing notifications

Configuring Notifications

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications
  2. Toggle each notification type on/off
  3. Changes save automatically

Whitelist domains or specific pages to exclude them from match results.

Quick Overview

Whitelist links for:

  • Your own websites
  • Authorized distributors
  • Partner platforms
  • Any site with permission to use your content

Adding to Whitelist

  1. Go to MonitoringWhitelisted Links
  2. Select a category (Official, Authorized, Partner, Promotional, or Other)
  3. Enter the link or domain
  4. Enable Domain-wide to cover all pages on a domain
  5. Click Add Whitelisted Link

Managing Whitelist

  • View all whitelisted links with their categories
  • See "times matched" to know how often a whitelist entry filters results
  • Remove links that should no longer be excluded

Manual Scans

Free users can run one manual scan per week. Paid users can run additional manual scans anytime.

Monitoring Status

Enabling/Disabling Monitoring

You can pause monitoring:

  1. Go to SettingsProfile
  2. Find Monitoring Status
  3. Toggle to enable/disable

WARNING

Disabling monitoring stops all automatic scans. You won't receive new match notifications until re-enabled.

Image Settings

Uploading Images

Configure how images are handled:

  • Images are automatically processed for similarity search
  • Face detection runs on uploaded images (if enabled)
  • Hash values are generated for fast matching

Face Recognition (Enterprise)

If your plan includes face recognition:

  1. Go to MonitoringFace Scan
  2. Upload reference face images
  3. Configure face matching sensitivity

Location Boost (Enterprise)

Enterprise users can boost search results from specific regions:

  • Contact support to configure
  • Useful for targeting specific geographic markets

Best Practices

Keep Whitelist Updated

Regularly review your whitelist to ensure you're not missing unauthorized content.

Enable All Notifications

During your first month, enable all notifications to understand the types of matches found.

Regular Check-ins

Even with automatic monitoring, review your dashboard weekly for best results.

Troubleshooting

"Not receiving notifications"

  1. Check notification settings are enabled
  2. Verify your email address is confirmed
  3. Check spam/junk folders
  4. Add our email to your contacts

"Too many false positives"

  1. Add frequently flagged domains to whitelist
  2. Review platform links are correctly configured
  3. Ensure stage names are specific enough
